| Description: A major Food Service/Catering company is seeking a bright, resourceful Human Resources Manager to join their team. This is a dynamic role which will work with a great team of people in a friendly, professional atmosphere. Responsibilities: Develop the HR department, manage and guide the HR Team. Supervise and conduct high volume recruitment. Manage employee relations, encouraging an employee-oriented, high performance culture, emphasizing productivity, quality and team work. Manage all communication and contacts with the union representatives, monitoring and administering disciplinary actions where necessary. Monitor and advise on legal aspects within Human Resources. Supervise and conduct administrative projects to improve structure within HR department. Handle special projects and employee events (birthday parties, award ceremonies, etc.). | |
| Requirements: Qualifications: 4-5 years of experience within Human Resources in a leading role. Bachelor’s Degree required. Experience working within a Hospitality, Food Service or Manufacturing industry required. Extensive knowledge of US employment, labor laws and regulations. Experience working within a union environment. Fluent in English, a second language is beneficial (Spanish). | |
